Crazy IC coming, me taking rest in Dehli

Suddenly in five minutes I decided on saturday to join the Transport and Logistic team and I went with them to Dehli...and to be honest that was my best decision after long time.
I just simply got all my energy back:):):)
We arrived at about 10pm on Saturday and some delegates were already at the hotel...so that moment we realized..oupsss...IC already started!!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
then some people went to pick up AIESEC International team to the airport, so then once they arrived there was so much rush at the reception area, that who didnt realize before had to realize that IC REALLY STARTED (at least for the CC).
It was so nice to see old friends, smily faces..to be honest it was like all my AIESEC memories refreshed during 10 minutes, cause each face is connected to some event...you dont need to remember the names...but the faces reminds you of beautifull moments of my first international conference in Sweden, the Belgrade' s square during Global Village, chilling out and excitment of being newie elected LCP at EuroExpo in Italy, crazy parties at IC 2004 in Germany....and now seeing them here in India:)
At 4am phone woke me up:"Your czech friends have just arrived"...I just stood up and run in my pyjama to the lobby to welcome them.....so nice to see them:)
In the morning we went to see the city with czech MC, and some other delegates(pictures coming soon)...we had really lots of fun...like 100 indians staring at us in from of one mosque, where we were waiting:):):)As I didnt manage to take sunday' s bus I stayed one more night and this morning I left with first delegates to Agra.
And this evening I came back, many people were excited to see me, cause they thought that I am lost(those people who knew that I am staying one more night in Dehli didnt pass on the message:):))
Tonight AI came to our 10 star hotel Sheela Inn and spent some time with us...(good ocasion to have some nice food:):):))
I wish I can now take a picture of myself and put it here, so you can see how smily and shiny I am:) Going out for two days out of Sheela just made me so relaxed, sleeping in AC rooms, travelling in AC bus...yeah I am becoming comfortable:) but more importantly meeting other people, getting new thoughts to my mind, starting to feel the excitement of IC....the trip was just worth it!!!!
I cant wait for IC to actually start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for reflection...48th day in India

Yeah...it is already long time since I arrived to India and there are definitelly lots of things I have realized and learned. I just wrote email to my mum to thank her that she allowed me to come here to this amazing country.

I realized what is really the msot important in my life, especially after facing the daily reality in Mumbai...seeing every day so many people living in poverty, living on streets of Mumbai, washing clothers in some random puddles, naked children running around etc.

I am very happy person, because I have a house to live in and I am healthy.

I did realize it also before coming to India, but somehow here...facing this every single day...it made me realize it even more and made me thing about my life every single day.

I am also thinking about what will be next, what will happen...cause year 2005 is a year of changes in my life:

-LCP term
-working full time in big multinational company and realizing what job I actually want
-living in India
-working in CC team...56 individuals from about 30 countries all around the world
-moving out from dorms, where I spent last three years and starting living on my own in aunt' s flat from september, one room for myself, not sharing a room with someone else
-and lots of other very big changes in my personal life

From autumn onwards I have lots of plans which I made here in India...and lets see if I will really realize it:)

- living definitelly more calmer but more full life
- learning more about my religion
- devoting my time to some NGO dealing with street children
- doing some sport, reading more books
- travelling in Europe to see some of my close friends
- working to earn some money to realize my plans:):)
- spending more time with my family
- paying more attention to all friends I have at home and in Prague
- STUDY!!!

Yep...I love my life:)and I am really looking forward every single day taht is coming...IC, going back home, settling down in my new room in Prague, starting studies, etc.

I love my life!!!

Trip to Mathura

"Mathura on the banks of River Yamuna is the birthplace of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Mathura has been a sacred pilgrimage centure for many centuries. The government museum with a vast collection of superb sculptures, terracotta images, coins and bronze objects those date back between 5th century BC and 12th century AD are worth probing through. "
Alarm clock woke me up at 6am and I just simply ignored it as few hours before there was no electricity in our lovely Sheela and I couldnt sleep cause of it...was just too hot!!!
6:30am I am getting a call from Olga:"So are you coming?????"....so i was ready in 5 mins and we went to bus stop where we catched some random bus whose driver was shouting "Mathuraaaaaa". We went for about one and half hour out of Agra and reached Mathura...after lots of negiotiating we took three rickshaws who took us around whole day:)
To be honest I have never seens so many temples ... it was nice place..buuut...all of us were compltely exhausted cause of the heat and completely dirty cause of the dust...hehehe...
Someone could say...wow, you have nice suntan...well...it is just that my body is covered with few milimetres of dust:)
I wont mention the hunt for AC restaurant and nonVeg food(afterwards we realized that it is a religious place...there is no nonVeg resturant), going 8+rickshaw driver in one rickshaw, cause one stoped working:), random conversations with rickshaw drivers, people staring at us cause we were the only tourists, walking down the street without shoes, etc.
But we reached safely our Sheela home and met crazy indian MCP Parthiv(btw..nice to meet you again Parthiv) and taking the best shower ever...hahaha...never felt as dirty as today.
But it was a great day:):):):):)

Yes, unfortunately everyone is already sick of seeing rice...hehehe...but today we celebrated cause we had PASTAAAA...everyone went crazy, and who came late didnt have any food, cause th first just ate so much that it was not enough for the rest. Faktepur Sikri and Pink City....finally travelling a bit

On saturday afternoon whole CC got on bus(nice indian bus..hehehe) and we went to see Faktepur Sikri:

"The royal city at Fatehpur Sikri, situated 26 miles west of Agra, was built at the orders of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. While Akbar himself was illiterate, he took a keen interest in literature, architecture, and the arts. He is also reputed to be a very tolerant ruler, and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu elements in their architectural style. One of the buildings even reflects the new sycretistic faith founded by Akbar, Din-e-ilahi, which though very short-lived remains a matter of controversy."

It is an awesome complex...the only problem was that we were the only foreigner there, so all the sellers were following each step of ours and there were lots of random guys who were trying to be a tourist guides...so they just followed us, all the time repeated "i dont want money"...but otherwise we all loved the trip, I will soon post some pictures.

Then after coming back to hotel Sheela Inn:) we just had dinner and 10 of us went to Jaipur, we just randomly caught some bus....welll...to be honest that was my worst bus ride in my life...at night jumping on the last seat .... we were going on highway, but to be honest I felt like we are going through some fields, but finaly in the morning after six hours we reached teh lovely city Jaipur...called also Pink City.

We did a lot of sightseeing thanks to Adil, who took us in the car. We went also to Tiger Fort to see teh city from birds perspective. Jaipur is seariously THE city...it is organized, clean, nice:) Now I am back in Agra working for IC:)Soon I will upload some pictures from the best weekend in India:)

On fine day part of us woke up at 6am and went together to Taj Mahal:) actually after one week living right next to Taj. We had our great guide, who actually instead of telling us some facts about Taj Mahal was telling us where are the best places to take pictures from and then we used him as our official photographer.
